Go Go Go!
Everything seems to be falling apart at work. The servers are down, the internet connection is down (well, it just came back up), VPN access to our parent company is down, Domino Docs is down, the source control license server is down. Since practically every aspect that is critical to my job function is down, it’s been a slow and unproductive day at work. I’m tempted to call it a day and leave the office.

The temptation is growing. I have a few tokens left over from my last visit to the arcade and now’s as good a time as any to spend them to brush up my shooting accuracy. With the long Nuzul Al-Quran weekend coming along, my colleagues and I are planning a Sunday Shootout for some good old competition on the shooting games. We’ll be hitting the Time Crisis 4 and House of the Dead 4 machines.
The kiasu side of me doesn’t want to lose, so I’ll have to scrape the rust before then. My accuracy rate has been holding steady at 40%+ over the last few visits but some of my colleagues are talking smack and boasting of 50% to 60%+ accuracy. That’s just godlike in my books.
That’s it. I’m going home.
