Paul Potts’ One Chance To Sing Opera
Paul Potts was the winner of Britain’s Got Talent, a show created by Simon Cowell. The first time I heard this, it brought tears to my eyes (and the second time… and the third time… ok I’m a beepin’ cry baby!). The music and his voice just moves you. Truly a WTF moment if there ever was one. Watch it yourself and try not to weep.
Paul Potts has since gone on to release an amazing mixed language album titled One Chance. The album contains 10 songs in English and Italian:

Each and every one of them is incredible. Switch it on at high volume and just let the sounds wash over you. While I don’t understand Italiano, they never fail to cause a shiver down the spine and bring on the goose bumps. Especially when this amazing guy hits the big big big notes.
