Come tomorrow midnight, I’ll be out of the country on a long awaited vacation. It’s been 6 months in the making and we were very near canceling the trip on account of the swine flu and all. After much thought, we made the decision to go ahead with the trip *thank goodness*. WL and I will be away for 17 days. Throw in 7 days self quarantine upon returning and I’ll literally be away from the office for the entire month. (more…)
Just realised that the last time I updated was exactly a year ago. It’s been a long and busy one for me at work. The last four months has been particularly packed. Not much surprise with the global economy in its current state. Companies are cutting back on budgets and resourcing. Was chatting with some friends and most of them are nearing burnout. Sadly, I’m not too far from that. On the bright side, I’m planning for my trip down under in a few months time. Really looking forward to that long vacation.
Strangely enough, don’t have much else to add after a year’s hiatus. Until next time…

Does anybody ever actually read it? Probably not. But some genius somewhere decided it was in the best interest of the whole damn world - or at least the miniscule minority who actually read this bullshit - to put down this law somewhere in the big book of blog that the first post must be introductory in nature.
